HAZARD IDENTIFICATION

The type of approach recommended by SafeOrg is one of rigorous assessment of work tasks and processes and the work environment to identify all hazards.

Whereas the audit process looks for the existence of a process against a standard, such as whether there is a hazard register in place, we seek evidence of failure to identify significant hazards, or to adequately control the associated risks. From that approach we are able to ascertain the adequacy of risk management skills in the workforce and tailor an education regime to address those deficiencies.
